Samsung Electro-Mechanics launches the world’s first CLLC resonant MLCC (1210 inch, 33nF, 1000V)

Samsung Electro-Mechanics has developed the world's first xEV (BEV, PHEV) Temp. Compensation high-voltage multilayer ceramic capacitor CL32C333JIV1PN# (hereinafter, 'this product'). 1210 inch (3.2×2.5mm) of size and C0G (-55 to 125℃), this product implements a capacitance of 33nF at a rated voltage of 1000V. Its mass production has also begun.

 

This product extends products of similar capacitance in the established C0G lineup from 630V to 1000V, thus meeting the requirements of electric vehicle charging systems (CLLC resonant circuits). There has been a sharp increase in MLCC units per vehicle, driven by automotive electrification and high functionality. This has led to persistent demands for miniaturization, high-voltage stability, and expanded capacitance of MLCCs. Accordingly, we have developed a 1210 inch (3.2×2.5mm) size, C0G, rated 1000V, capacitance 33nF product by applying our proprietary ceramic and electrode material fine-particle technologies and ultra-precision stacking processes.

 

At the same time, Samsung Electro-Mechanics offers the following products:
- 1210 inch (3.2×2.5mm), C0G, rated 1250V, capacitance of 10nF
- 1210 inch (3.2×2.5mm), C0G, rated 1000V, capacitance of 22nF
