The Advancement of ADAS Technology and Improvement of SoC Performance
ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology, which aims to improve drivers' safety and convenience, continues to advance. The performance of ADAS SoCs (System on Chip) is also steadily advancing to collect and analyze more information from various sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, and radar.
This increase in performance drives a higher power consumption. Thus, the demand for MLCCs of not only high capacitance but also Low-ESL features continue to grow, as they are required for a stable SoC operation in high-power and high-frequency environments.
Low-ESL (LICC/3T) MLCCs provide excellent high-frequency noise suppression and stable power delivery with fewer components than standard MLCCs. They are also an effective solution for circuits with limited mounting space.
